As founder and owner, Jon W. Morphew, has 25 years of legal experience and maintains a focused practice in eminent domain and property rights litigation. He represents homeowners, tenants, commercial property owners and small businesses in disputes involving government acquisition and valuation throughout Minnesota.

Jon is the past President of and on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Eminent Domain Institute, past Vice-Chair of the Eminent Domain Section of the Hennepin County Bar Association, current Vice-President of the Monticello Economic Development Authority and past Vice-President of the NW Suburban Chapter of Business Networking International. He is also a former board member of FiberNet Monticello, a community-owned telecommunications company. Jon has been a contributing author and speaker on several Continuing Legal Education courses on the topics of eminent domain and relocation benefits law, as well as an adjunct instructor of business organizations law and contracts law at St. Cloud Community and Technical College. Jon currently serves as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the City of Minnetonka.

Jon attended the University of Northern Iowa, graduating with a B.A. in Political Science. After that he went on to study at the University of Nebraska College of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1998. After moving to Minneapolis, he passed the Minnesota State Bar and began practicing law. He has been married to his wife Gayle for 24 years. Gayle is an Assistant County Attorney for Stearns County. In their free time, they love to travel internationally, go fishing, and attend concerts.
