As founder, I, Jon W. Morphew, have over 18 years of experience in many areas of the law and am ready to help you with your legal needs. I practice primarily in the areas of real estate, eminent domain and relocation benefits law in the state of Minnesota, with an emphasis on business and commercial clients. In addition, I practice land use, special assessment appeals, and litigation. I have successfully tried numerous bench and jury trials, commissioners' hearings, administrative appeal hearings and appellate cases.

I am currently the President of and on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Eminent Domain Institute, a commissioner on the Monticello Economic Development Authority, past vice-president of the NW Suburban Chapter of Business Networking International, and a member of the Twin West Chamber of Commerce. I was a former board member of FiberNet Monticello, a community-owned telecommunications company. I have also been a contributing author and speaker on several Continuing Legal Education courses on the topics of eminent domain and relocation benefits law, as well as an adjunct instructor of business organizations law and contracts law at St. Cloud Community and Technical College

I grew up in Ottumwa, IA and attended the University of Northern Iowa. Graduating with a B.A. in Political Science, I went on to study at the University of Nebraska College of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1998. After moving to Minneapolis, I passed the Minnesota State Bar and began practicing law. I have been married to my wife Gayle for 17 years. Gayle is an Assistant County Attorney for Stearns County. In our free time, we love to travel internationally, go fishing, and attend sporting events.
